History
The Omicron Theta Chapter is located on the campus of the University of Texas in Austin. The Chapter was chartered on February 18, 1978 in Austin, Texas. The chapter's initial 10 charter members are Aquila Baseer, Marie Brown, Tara Bryant, Alexis Howard, Julianne Kazee, Peal Mays, Demetrius Ray, Mallinee Smith, Shalra Thomas and Cassandra Washington.
On March 24, 1991, the chapter was re-chartered by Yvette Williams, Paula Handy, Chariese Washington, Kim Karrely, Stacey Robertson, and Shonah Jefferson. Since re-activation, the chapter continues to set records for the highest GPA for Greek organizations, recognition for their programming and awarded by the University Sorority and Fraternity Life recognition for "Commitment to Cultural Consciousness".

Chapter Meeting
The Omicron Theta Chapter meetings are typically held on the first and third Tuesday of the month. This is subject to change based on member's class schedule.
